The empty bullet case immortalised inside this table was brought back to Australia from the Vietnam war by a young Australian soldier who was sent there at the time. This man is now in his 70s and has had this bullet all this time, until relinquishing it to us for this project.

This project imortalises the essence of the Australian soldier in Vietnam. The natural channel of the this table gave us the idea for the bullet and then the artistic mind took over. The bullet shoots through this table on its way somewhere leaving a trail of copper, steel, rock, debri, in its wake. The bullet rips through the wood as the war ripped through this young mans live and changed it forever.
